“Do not be anxious about anything,” wrote Paul to the Philippians (4:6). Certainly he was writing out of personal experience, acknowledging that anxiety is a human condition, but also offering a way to overcome it. Anxious thoughts can be triggered by many things, and we’re all wired differently. In this conversation, Pastor Jacob will share 3 resources, 2 tools, and 1 story that can help you overcome anxiety. Sharing from his personal experience, he hopes to spark an honest conversation that will lead to greater freedom.

“For some time, I’ve had the idea of a book club for spiritual discussion, growth, and mutual edification. I have come to know the Holy Spirit as an excellent recommender of reading material. Every book He has put into my hands has been timely, grounded in scripture, well-written, fascinating, and has drawn me closer to God than I could have imagined possible. I would like to share some of these books with you! We’ll talk about the ones that interest us most and why, and maybe even select one to read together in the fall.”
