The wait is over! Blue Miracle is our chosen film for Movie Night on Friday, July 17th.

Based on a true story, the movie follows Casa Hogar, a boys’ orphanage in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as it faces bankruptcy after Hurricane Odile. With no fishing experience, the orphanage’s guardian, “Papa” Omar (Jimmy Gonzales), and the boys team up with a washed-up, two-time champion, Captain Wade Malloy (Dennis Quaid), to compete in the prestigious Bisbee’s Black & Blue fishing tournament for a massive cash prize. Throughout the film, a powerful message shines through: how God can turn impossible situations around and answer prayers in the most unexpected ways.
