Feeling isolated during the extended lockdown in Hanoi? Do you miss having in-depth conversations with friends? Would you like the opportunity to hang out with HIF pastors, ministry leaders, and other HIF’ers during the week?
We long to stay engaged and interact with our beloved HIF community while we are unable to gather. Join us on Thursday, August 5 at 7PM on Zoom for an informal yet focused discussion! Each week, a different volunteer ‘host’ will present a topic that interests them, and we’ll talk about it. Topics can be anything: a passage of Scripture that has helped you recently, a new hobby, your favorite book, a unique trip or experience, or a facet of your native culture that we may not know about – the sky is the limit!
For our inaugural conversation, we’ll be hosted by none other than our own Ryan Robinson – read about his conversation topic below:
Spiritual Formation: A conversation on leveraging our time and situation in Hanoi to become more like Christ
“If we are honest, life in Hanoi hasn’t been easy – so much is out of our control. But what if we focus on what we do have control of? We want to gather together to encourage, build up and spur each other on. We are going to look at a simple question: who are you becoming? How can we become more like Christ? I encourage you to join us to connect, learn, and take away practical daily tools on how to grow.”
Do you have something that you’d like to share? Email sarah.fitz@hif.vn for more information, share a topic idea, or volunteer to be a conversation host in the coming weeks.
