The Community Serve Day, organized by Citypartners, a local ministry of Hanoi International Fellowship, encompassed various activities, with the clean-up being the central focus that brought together members of the fellowship. This dedication translated into a significant turnout on November 18, 2023, with 98 volunteers actively engaging in the clean-up at Ngoai Giao Doan Park, showcasing their punctuality and dedication. Inspired by sermons on the Book of Nehemiah delivered by Pastor Jacob, participants were motivated to demonstrate their love for Hanoi by embodying the spirit of faith, hope, and love, echoing Nehemiah’s dedication to serving the city. Ten working groups efficiently tackled their tasks, resulting in the collection of approximately 3 tons of trash and grass over 2 hours and 30 minutes. Neighbors to the site commended the participants’ efforts, acknowledging their impact in maintaining cleanliness. Despite the praise, the participants humbly recognized their service as unto the Lord, as echoed in Luke 17:10. Glory be to God for the impactful Community Serve Day!
