DIRECTOR TECH, MEDIA & MUSIC, Coordinator & Mentor African Fellowship, Hanoi Vietnam
.Tomi has been part of the Hanoi community since 2010, and in that time, his heart for people and ministry has only grown deeper. Not long after arriving, he immediately started what began as a Nigerian student fellowship — a group that has since grown into the African Fellowship Vietnam, a thriving community of over 100 African migrants and international students that he continues to serve as Coordinator and Mentor. Through mentorship, tutoring, language learning support, and practical guidance, Tomi walks alongside people navigating the real challenges of building a new life in a new country socially, academically, and culturally.
At HIF, Tomi brings that same shepherd’s heart to everything he does. He leads both the Tech and Worship Teams, making sure that every Sunday runs smoothly and that the atmosphere is one where people can genuinely encounter God. His background is rich and varied — a degree in Computing from the University of Greenwich and a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Salford and his years of experience in ministry and community leadership make him a steady, trusted presence at HIF. He has also served as a music director back in Nigeria, a role that speaks to his long-standing love for worship and the local church.
Tomi is married to Linh, a teacher at Concordia International School, and together they are the proud parents of two adorable little ones — Akin and Anike.
