Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered group offering a 12-step program infused with biblical teachings to nurture, heal, and educate individuals in distress. It provides a supportive environment for people to conquer their struggles-be it hurts, hang-ups, or habits-with the support of caring peers. Through CR, participants learn to rely on God for healing, fostering a deeper connection with Jesus Christ, the ultimate source of solace.
Who can benefit from CR? Anyone grappling with life’s challenges, whether they identify as Christian or not.
What are “hurts, hang-ups, and habits”? They encompass any obstacles hindering a fulfilling relationship with Christ and others, disrupting personal growth. These issues may stem from past traumas (hurts) or ongoing struggles (habits), affecting individuals on multiple levels.
CR components include fellowship, teaching, worship, and confidential support groups, among others. To get involved, individuals can attend meetings or contact CR via email. Weekly gatherings feature discussions and smaller gender-specific groups, while 12-Step Study groups offer a deeper dive into recovery. Through these sessions, participants experience profound transformation, breaking free from destructive patterns to embrace a new, empowered identity.
