Capacity Vietnam will hold a training for parents in September about becoming an emotional first aider to their children. The training aims to equip parents to:
* Support a child through difficult emotional situations * Identify emotional health problems of depression, stress, anxiety and feeling suicidal in children/teens * Practice active listening and how to show empathy to a child * Learn to care for yourself as you care for your children
The training will be held at the HIF Center Detech on September 15 and 16 from 8:30AM – 4:00PM. The training has a fee of 2,500,000 VND. As this is a training for equipping, please consider saving the dates in your calendars way ahead. This training is a must for parents given the challenges/situations our children are exposed to these days.
The training will be done by Rhianon Walls (Director, Capacity Vietnam) and Esther Nguyen (Project Manager, Capacity Vietnam). They are professional Counselors and experts in the field.
